Ceroc Christchurch

Meet the Teachers ... Rachel

Introduction

Rachel has been hooked on Ceroc since attending her first class at a party in 2002. She loves responding to different types of music, playing with style, and dressing up at every opportunity. For fun, she has been known to dabble (and compete) in Triples.

Her classes focus on developing core Ceroc skills, and include simple, stylish variations on basic moves. She aims to inspire both new and more experienced dancers to think creatively so they'll never feel bored, and to have fun while they learn.

Started Dancing:July 2002
Started Teaching Ceroc:June 2009
Music:Upbeat songs with attitude - Christina Aguilera, Lou Bega, Aretha Franklin.
Why Ceroc:It's like acting to music.

Outside of class, Rachel enjoys dancing in the community and has taken part in various Ceroc demonstrations.
