Dips and Drops
Aimed at more the more experienced dancer, a dips and drops workshops allow you to add those flashy moves to your repertoire.
We show you about six or so moves and really emphasise dancing the moves safely and with style.
"As a man, I not only want to learn a few Dips and Drops,
but I also want to know how to fit them into my dancing, make them look good and have plenty of attitude".
"As a woman, I want to be able to express my own style and attitude in a variety of Dips and Drops".
Moves have an environment containing factors that influence the way they are performed.
These factors include the song genre and mood, our partner's style personality and also the connection with any spectators.
Not only will we teach a few Dips and Drops but We'll also give you practical tips on turning your Dips and Drops Moves into Dips and Drops Performances.
Testimonials from previous workshops:
Notes: a great idea! Really good to revise the moves.
Movies will be I am sure really really good - (I haven't watched them yet).
...
... I suspect if I had the opportunity to do the exact same workshop in 6 months - or maybe a year's time,
I would get an equal amount out of it - at a different level.
Which probably means you all did a really good job for a multi-level participant workshop.
So for me the best bit was the opportunity to do each move many times with experienced competent Ceroc men.

| Thanks v much for an excellent dips, drops and attitude workshop and fabulous t dance afterwards with v yummy food! |
| The demo/discussion session at the start was the most useful teaching of
musicality/style/connection that I've ever encountered. The pointers on what 'mind set' to adopt and
what areas to focus on for different music were especially enlightening. e.g. the idea that I don't always
need to give equal importance to connecting with my partner and playing to an audience -
the music dictates how much 'weight' to give to each. The specific pointers (like raising the knee and
dropping the arm in the seducer if the music dictates) were great. The right number of moves was taught
for the time available, and they were lots of fun. Thanks for restricting bookings to keep the numbers even. |
